Herbs
Yummy! Add some spice in the kitchen! My father-in-law is an incredible cook and he'll tell you that anyone can create a masterful meal if they just use fresh herbs. Did you know that basil is one of the easiest and most abundant herbs you can grow? You wouldn't think that while shopping for it at the grocery store where they charge top dollar. Fresh herbs are expensive and yet surprisingly easy to grow.

Cut Flowers
Cut flowers can be a great addition to your garden. I used to sell bouquets at the farmers market and made a small profit. A friend of mine made bouquets to barter with at yard sales and stores. Even if they're just for decorating your home or yard, I love flowers in the garden.
Keep in mind that Cincinnati Garden Coach's primary purpose is to teach people how to grow their own food. While dreaming up your flower arrangements, consider starting out the first year with only a 1/5th of the bed used for flowers. Or consider ordering a second raised bed with as much as half or even the full bed used for flowers.
